Where is Mario's Transportation located?
Mario's runs commuter services every morning at the corner of 85th and York Ave. in the Upper East Side. From there we pickup commuters at the corner of 79th & York Ave. & 73rd & York Ave. before making drops downtown.
Where does Mario's Transportation drop off passengers in the morning?
After Mario's picks up commuters in the Upper East Side, we make drops on the East & West side of the Financial District.
Where does Mario's pick up & drop off passengers in the evening?
We pick up passengers on the East Side at Wall & Water in front of Gregory's Coffee. And on the West Side at Goldman Sachs.
How do I download Mario's new mobile app?
Just go to the App Store or Google Play store and download our free app. Schedules, payments, tracking, and more is set up in the app!
Does the in-app unlimited ride book have an expiration date?
In the app there are three types of ride payments. You can purchase a single ride, a 20 ride book, or an unlimited ride package. They all have an expiration date of 1 month after purchase.
Once the mobile app is implemented, what will happen to my old tickets?
Mario's will gradually transition from the old ticket books to the new mobile app. You will have time to continue using cash and the ticket books until a later date. Mario's will be sure to let you know when that date approaches.
Is Mario's new mobile app secure?
Yes. All data that you share with Mario's is secured with industry standard SSL technology.
How are Mario's mobile payments processed?
Mario's uses Stripe for all payments made within the app. Stripe is a payments technology company that manages payments for customers like Warby Parker, Target, Blue Apron, Lyft, Postmates, & Door Dash, to name a few.
Can I use my commuter benefits card to pay in the app?
Mario's is currently in the process of making all commuter benefits credit cards available in the app. We'll be sure to keep you informed of our progress during this time.
